Role Definition

Creates, implements and improves engineering processes, tools and techniques to meet customer requirements and maximize product quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, promote and support safety processes and safe systems of work.

  • Assist managing multiple project requirements in a dynamic workspace.

  • Develop and maintain schedules and assist in the planning and coordinating of works to deliver projects on time.

  • Assist in managing various site works conducted by external providers.

  • Manage parts ordering and tracking.

  • Collaborating with all functional areas, (marketing, purchasing, Engineering) to provide solutions that meets the requirements of the customer and dealer network.

  • Planning and improving procedures and operations to make the product or process more reliable, efficient and cost-effective.

  • Participating in the adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement.

Qualifications:

Degree or equivalent experience desired

Key Skills Required:

  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organisational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviours

  • Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.

  • Team Management: Knowledge of effective team building techniques; ability to form and manage effective teams.

  • Product Testing: Knowledge of product testing approaches, techniques and tools; ability to design and plan testing strategies and tactics to ensure product quality at all stages of manufacturing.

  • Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a product development environment.

  • Working environment - 5 days in office
