Role Definition
As the Engineering Team Lead of the Gas/Dual Fuel Software Planning Team, your primary role is to coordinate concurrent software development projects covering the G3500, G3600, and Dual Fuel 3500 platforms.
There will be a high demand for you to proactively interface with Engine Platform, Performance, Controls, Test Cell, HIL Validation and CATE groups to align all requirements, executing a robust and efficient software development process. As part of your scope, you will gain training and experience on the operation of HIL validation simulators (dSPACE), for your growth and overall process robustness.
What you will do
Conduct software feature requirements gathering and collaboration meetings with stakeholders and development partners.
Clearly communicate negotiated software timelines and align all necessary resources to deliver to per expectations.
Proactively propose and execute solutions to resolve issues due to resource constraints.
Gain knowledge of upstream and downstream software development processes to enable your effectiveness.
Investigate engine software field defects, coordinate their resolution and validation with impacted development groups
Manage Gas and DGB/DF program budgets.
Degree Requirement
Requires a degree from an accredited Engineering curriculum
5+ years work experience or 3+ years with relevant graduate degree

This position can be located will be located onsite 5 days a week in Mossville, IL (Technical Center - Building L)

Summary Pay Range:
$112,710.00 - $169,060.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
