Caterpillar Hungary is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to fulfill a colorful role in our Manufactruing Engineering team. If you like to own a project from start to end, see your idea being transformed to a real solution, fixture or process, and you enjoy working with several departments in a manufacturing facility – production, design teams, supply chain, quality, then this is your opportunity.
Your job duties may include...
- Designing and or directing the fabrication of necessary tooling (jigs, fixtures)
- Being involved - lead in the improvement of process steps used in the manufacture of products (manufacturing, manual welding, robot, and automation - LEAN)
- Working with production, quality, and supply chain, maintenance departments
- Taking part in New Product Implementation, handle-upload new product data in ERP system
- Process development, creation of new work instructions, ensuring process descriptions are available and up to date.
You will have...
- BSc or MSc degree related to manufacturing (Mechanical Engineering or similar etc.)
- Good command of English language (written and verbal) on a daily basis
- Knowledge of product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking skills: Participates in documenting data, ideas, players, stakeholders, processes and recognizes, clarifies, and prioritizes concerns. Seeks help to confirm or support difficult decisions.
- Basic/User level understanding of 3D design software skill
- Agile person with curiosity, a collaborative spirit
- Ownership attitude and an aptitude to take initiative

- Project execution experience – small – mid projects are welcome.
