  Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our GLBL BusSvcs Tax - Global Finance Services Division.

 The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore, Whitefield Office

What you will do

  • starter - Able to quickly learn and perform day to activities independently. Should quickly step up to handle more complex activities with minimal supervisor support                                                                                                                                                                  
  • Process Driven - Should follow process and invest sufficient time in documentation of the process with focus on attention to detail.
  • To prepare monthly VAT submission for UK facilities with high volume of transactions and analysis required                                                                                                                                                                     
  • Monthly Book closure -Handle US GAAP Legal entity closings related to Indirect tax accounts for all the legal entities handled from Bangalore.
  • Monthly Reconciliations - Preparation of VAT reconciliations with Low to Medium complexity related to balance sheet. 
  • Audit support - Statutory audit support including preparation of Tax schedules, Local GAAP tax requirements and handle all indirect tax related questions from audit team and coordinate with legal entity managers for various tax issues.  
  •   Reporting - Provides MIS support for management reporting
  •  Management information support - Supports various corporate requests like yearly tax information requests for tax audit, GST annual audit, and support information requests for 10k/10Q related to indirect tax accounts. 
  •  Tax filing - Coordinates with consultants and Global Tax teams to support tax return of various legal entities handled at Bangalore.
  • Also coordinate with Global tax team in providing information for tax audits and tax assessments
  • Process improvement projects -Participate and Lead in process improvement projects to improve existing process.
  • Use principles of lean, six sigma and built in process in accounting and reporting processes.
  • Takes active part in process automation and providing dash board reporting using data analytics, robotics and Tableau tools.
     

What you will have.

  • CA with 2-3 years of experience or Non CA with 2-4 years of VAT/GST -Indirect Tax experience; Big 4 experience preferred.
