Job Summary:

Intelligent Automation Analysts are responsible for development and support of automation processes using Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Platform and other low code tools. This role is part of a COE meaning that it's focus is not limited to a single group or business unit. They will work within the IA COE helping a wide variety of teams across the enterprise to build automations. The primary focus will be on development but there will be opportunities to use multiple tools in this space.

What You Will Do:

1. Competent to perform all programming, development, and/or system administration assignments without close supervision; more complex assignments may require closer supervision and assistance;

2. Works directly on application/technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions;

3. Works independently on complex modules that may be used by one or more programs or systems;

4. Works independently on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components;

5. Under the direction of more senior staff, assists in the development of major system modules and programs based on requirements gathered from system customers;

6. Participates in integrated testing and user acceptance of system or infrastructure components;

7. Assists less senior staff with logic problems and interpretation of specifications;

8. Fully knowledgeable of current programming languages, program design and specification development, programming logic, logic diagrams, basic system analysis techniques, testing, debugging, documentation standards, file design, storage and internal systems;

9. Performs integration tasks for in-house developed systems and/or purchased software and hardware solutions.

10. Designs and implements processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support.

Employee may also be responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned.

What You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5 years of development experience with RPA tools (Automation Anywhere/Microsoft Power Platform/Other RPA Tools)

  • 1-2 years of Power Platform specific Development experience (Apps & Flows).

  • Relevant low code tooling certifications.

  • Experience with other RPA tools.

  • Other programming experience in another language such as .NET / Java ./ Powershell / VB

  • Window Desktop/Server infrastructure support or administration experience.

  • Knowledge of Caterpillar policies and procedures, and a general understanding of Caterpillar’s organization.

  • The primary locations are Peoria, IL, Dallas TX, and Nashville TN

  • Relocation assistance available

  • MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO THIS LOCATION AND Work out of the office 3 times a week.

  • This position may require 10% travel.
