CISD currently has an opportunity for an experience Strategy Consultant to join the Caterpillar team.
About the Position
As Strategy consultant for CISD supporting Asia Pacific services growth plan and leadership table processes in support of the CISD strategy and definition of winning. The role serves as a leadership table process and industry subject matter expert bringing alignment between services growth plans and key industry initiatives.
The primary responsibilities for this position will be to (but not limited to)

Accountability for consolidation and tracking of SGP action plan deliverables

Provides coaching and guidance on inclusion and removal of SGP action plan items
-
Deliver monthly action plan status and dependency reporting

Works with dealers and Caterpillar partners to resolve delays in action plan deliverables and close gaps

Participates in service growth plan development and calibrations directly supporting the gathering and validation of voice of customer and dealer

Support Leadership Table dependency tracking, communication, updates, and resolution

Ensures Leadership Table dependencies are specific, measurable, actionable, realistic and time bound

Completes global valuation of AP-originated Leadership Table dependencies for improved prioritization and impact analysis

Services and regional OIA integrator ensuring the quality of business cases, metrics, and targets within the official reporting tools

Leads go-to-market segmentation projects and action item resolution for non-SGP dealers

Serves as 4DX coach and system administrator

Lead other cross-divisional/enterprise-wide strategic projects as needed
Employee may also be responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned.
Required Skill and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Communication or equivalent experience
-
7-10 years of job-related experience including experience in the aftermarket, past dealer-facing roles, project management/black belt experience, industry specific knowledge, etc.

Should have broad business background, specific long-term industry knowledge and excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, including the ability to interact across all levels of the organization

Must be able to deal with sensitive issues, mentor and coach, and/or persuade others on new methods of equipment application, new technology and distribution methods.

Skilled at leveraging research and data to make business recommendations, deliver insights to senior leaders and building consensus
-
Requires strong skills working with people from different backgrounds and the ability to influence and resolve differences and issues

Strong analysis skills

Ability to adapt quickly to high velocity and change

Ability to simplify complex information and develop clear communications and presentation materials to a variety of audiences

Capable at being futuristic and activating the organization to execute
